When you pray, the Holy Spirit speaks. He will empower you to do what He called you to do.

Prayer is the key.

Can God trust you with His power? Walk in authority. We are being prepared for the shift/harvest 🌱

Acts 3:1

Peter & John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer (3'o clock)

  • Set this time to remember when He rose. Set a specific time to dedicate to God.

The man who couldn't walk was being carried. He knew where to position himself to get help.

  • Some people are only meant in your life for a season - the can only take you so far.

Reassess the people in your life - Are they making you better or comfortable?

Need people who can pull you through and pray for your situation. Even preachers need to be poured into and recharge.

Insight comes through prayer. Pray about it before they drain you.

Acknowledge Him in ALL your ways and He'll make your path straight. (Proverbs 3:6)

Acts 3:3-7

The man asks Peter and John for money. Peter tells him to "look intently" we don't have silver and gold (this stuff perishes) - what I'm about to give you is eternal.

Peter gave the man what he needed instead:

"In the power and authority of Jesus Christ, get up!"

He pulled Him up with a firm grip.

When the man got up, he got up with STRENGTH. He got up like he was ALWAYS in that position. Start walking in it - you can do this!

Don't forget God when He gets you out.

The man was walking, leaping, and praising God after he got up and was blessed. God sent someone to pull him up with strength. He poured into others because he was poured into.

Why connect to someone who can't pull you up?

Acts 4:1-3

Some leaders were upset because Peter and John helped the man elevate. Teaching the people through Jesus the resurrection of the dead. About 5,000 people in the city believed them and received Christ as their savior.

  • The religious leaders felt threatened, so they arrested them.

Acts 4:5-7

Big religious leaders met the next day and brought Peter and John in to question them, "By what power or in whose name have you done this?"

  • They were trying to trick them into speaking a name other than Jesus.

Acts 4:8

Filled with the Holy Spirit, Peter said, "Rulers and elders of our people! Are we being questioned for doing a good deed for a crippled man? Do you really want to know how he was healed?

  • The minute you're doing better, it's a problem.

Acts 4:10

Let me clearly state to all of you - "By the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead."

The crippled man was the reason why Peter and John got to the place God wanted them to be (in front of the council). Maximize the moment!

Acts 4:11

Jesus is the stone that you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.

There is no other name! He is the anointed one.

Members of the council were amazed by their boldness. Prayer will give you boldness. Resurrection power is in the name of Jesus.

They were ordinary men, but were recognized by their boldness and as the men who'd been with Jesus. Ordinary people are open and ready to be used.

Can people look at you and tell you've been with Jesus? Does your social media reflect your walk with Christ? Your aura? The way you speak?

"They'll know the tree by the fruit."

  • The evidence is there, it's the fruit. They can't deny your healing.

The council warned them not to speak the name of Jesus ever again.

Acts 4:19

Peter & John replied, "Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard."

The council let them go because they didn't know how to punish them without starting a riot. When people heard, all believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God. (Acts 4:24)

  • They were excited about what God's doing in the life of believers. Prayer will give the strength to present the gospel boldly.

They were assigned to do this because Divine intervention took place. Through prayer is how it will be accomplished.

Be led by the spirit of God before you make moves.

It is done! Receive it by faith. The steps of a good woman are ordered. 🤍
